About Us

The Center for Educational Research and Development (CRDP) was established by Decree # 2356, dated 10 December 1971, as a public institution having a juristic personality enjoying administrative and financial autonomy. CRDP reports directly to the Minister of Education and Higher Education who acts as a custodial authority. CRDP's main functions include developing the national curriculum, producing and publishing national textbooks and educational resources, providing teachers and administrators professional development in public schools and performing educational research and studies. In addition, CRDP produces specs for school buildings and classroom equipment.
